![]() 30 mins later the tow truck arrived, the guy got in, turned the engine on, revved it up - no apparent problem although the warning light was still on. In December, driving down the motorway in the pouring rain - same thing happened again - we managed to get over to the hard shoulder and called our emergency assistance. After this the van ran perfectly until December. After much scratching of heads the garage decided it was a problem in the turbo and replaced a hose. By the time I had phoned our garage to let them know we coming in and got ready to follow him - 10 mins max - it started again and drove as if nothing had happened, although the light was still on. In March last year my husband was driving down a duel carriageway when there was a sudden loss of power and the engine light came on, he nursed it home (a couple of miles) quite slowly. It's a bit of a saga (so bear with me ) but this is the history of our problem. Exactly the same thing has happened with ours (apart from the dashboard warning light comes on with ours and no loud noise). Hi Barryjohn, I was just wondering if you had found a solution to the problem with your van. P.S the van is a 51 plate (2002), with 119k on the clock. Hope someone can help me, thanks in advance Barry. Can anyone point me in the right direction, has anyone had this prob, if so what was it. They told me they have plugged it in to 3 diff computers, and there is nothing comeing up. Its been in the garage 2 weeks now, they have been useing it daily aswell, to try and get the problem to show again NO SUCH LUCK. The following day it started no probs, i drove it to the garage with no probs. I managed to get home with the problem still showing, so i left it over night with plans of takeing it to the garage in the morning. This cleared again and i managed to get off the motor way, but this problem happened 2 more times on the way home. I tried to rev it up, but it was flat sort of hunting for revs. ![]() I managed to get to the hard shoulder, the engine didnt cut out ( in fact it just ticked over sweet as a nut) also no lights on the dash lit up. It was a sudden jerk with a loud noise, followed by a loss of power. Since then iv had no probs until, 2 weeks ago when i was driving down the motor way. About 6 months ago i had a sudden loss of power on the way to work, this only lasted a few seconds and cleared. HI! I hope someone can help me out, iv got a prob with my van. ![]()
